2. Documentation review
You prepare for the ISO 14001 certification. Among other things, you do this by reviewing your current documents. Does it still match reality? If necessary, you can adjust the documents.

3. Certification audit
Our auditors check your environmental management system at your location. In our audits, we always pay attention to the human factor. We call this People Based Auditing.

4. Issuance of the ISO 14001 certificate
After successful certification you will receive our DEKRA Seal and the ISO 14001 certificate. This demonstrates that you meet the requirements. The ISO 14001 certificate is valid for three years.

5. Regular monitoring audits
DEKRA will return to you annually to carry out further checks. This way you can be sure that your organization continues to implement the regulations correctly in practice.

6. Recertification
After the certification period expires, you can get re-certified. With an extension of the ISO 14001 certificate, you are certified again for three years.
