IACS QSCS is the foundational element of IACS membership

IACS QSCS

The IACS (International Association of Classification Societies) QSCS (Quality System Certification Scheme) is a certification framework established by IACS in 1991. It comprises a comprehensive set of requirements based on the most recent versions of internationally recognized quality standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO-IEC 17020, as well as IMO Resolution MSC.349(92), MEPC.237(65) (RO Code), and IACS Resolutions.
The inaugural IACS QSCS certificates were awarded in 1993 to classification societies that are members of IACS. Since its inception, the scheme has been the foundational element of IACS membership.
