BVN Quality Standard for touring car operators

This quality standard, created by the trade association Busvervoer Nederland (BVN), aims to enable touring car operators in the Netherlands to reach the highest possible quality level in their industry. The standard covers ISO 9001 certification as well as requirements above those required by law, focusing on safety, training and conduct.
Organizations that uphold the BVN Quality Standard specifically invest in operational aspects that are important to consumers, such as safety, comfort and good service. BVN works with various stakeholders, including touring car operators of the Dutch Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (ANVR), Veilig Verkeer Nederland (Dutch road safety lobby group, VVN) and government agencies such as the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT), the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW) and Royal National Police Corps (KLPD).
